Sort of a random thing (you know, because it’s not like anything else on gg fits that bill), but I’m currently shopping for carbon monoxide detectors. Naturally, a good first step is to look for reviews, right? So I went to Consumer Reports and…their recommendations are locked behind a paywall.
Look, guys, I get that you shouldn’t just give away your services — there’s a ton of value to a group that meticulously reviews a ton of products and provides knowledgeable recommendations, since it’s not exactly feasible for the common person. Still, I’m looking to get info on which devices that could SAVE MY FUCKING LIFE actually work or not. That’s cold, assholes. Just cold.
