Bengals-Jags, 2nd Quarter. The color guy (not sure, but I think it’s Solomon Wilcots) is talking about how Mohamed Sanu has stepped up in A.J. Green’s absence. They show a graphic with his numbers over the last three games:
Wilcots then goes on to say Sanu is averaging “almost 100 yards a game” — this is true. He then says “and almost ten catches a game!”
Which is not true.
In case anyone doesn’t want to do the math, that’s six catches a game. I guess six is pretty close to ten if you assume that Sanu usually catches, like, 300 balls a game, though. Nice work, Solomon!
